*****UPDATE*****

Hello from AGSL. We hope that all of you continue to remain healthy and are finding ways to get through the COVID-19 pandemic.
In light of the extended stay of New York Pause by the Governor, our season cannot commence as originally planned. We have changed the start date of the season to July 6, 2020 and expect it to run for approximately 6 weeks.
Please note that we are following all governmental guidelines and mandates, which are in place in an attempt to protect us all from the COVID-19 virus.  As a result, please understand that while we are anxious to get the season underway as I hope all of you are too, our priority is to ensure the safety and welfare of all of the AGSL community.  Accordingly, we require some flexibility and understanding as we continue to assess the situation. We will do our best to commence on July 6, 2020 but that date is not etched in stone depending on the issuance of supplemental mandates and safety of the community.
We are going to continue to prepare for opening day. We are still keeping registration open to allow for any girls who may not have been able to play during the regularly scheduled season but would like to play in July and August.
Once things start to re-open and we are able to congregate, we will schedule a coaches meeting, evaluations and orientations. We will also finalize the schedule for the season.
I know these are uncertain times and we all want to stay healthy. We will undertake to ensure the health and well-being of all of the AGSL community and any protocols necessary will be implemented so that the season is not only fun but also safe.
We cannot wait to be able to play softball and we know that each day is a day closer to getting on the diamonds.
We appreciate all of the comments and questions we have been receiving and any additional questions and concerns can be directed to Michelle Maccagnano, AGSL Commissioner at mmaccagnano@aol.com
Keep practicing in your yard and stay positive.  Keep washing your hands! We are looking forward to a great season.
